Yoga Workshop Video:
Unlocking the Intelligence of Your Feet
Discover just how intelligent your feet really are – and how profoundly they influence the way you stand, walk, balance and practise yoga.
.
In this practical and exploratory workshop, Catherine Annis explores the feet as the foundation of your movement, combining clear anatomy with guided practice so that you can feel the concepts in your own body. You’ll explore how the heel, arches, toes, ankles and plantar fascia work together to receive weight, adapt to the ground and transmit force through the body.
You’ll learn to trust your heels, tap into the natural spring of your arches and wake up your feet and toes through massage, mobility and strengthening exercises. Along the way, you’ll explore balance and proprioception and discover how small, precise changes in the feet can ripple upwards, influencing the legs, pelvis and spine.
.
