Upcoming Yoga Workshops

More Time to Explore. More Opportunity to Understand Your Body

Sometimes a regular class simply isn't long enough to explore the things that make the biggest difference to how you move and feel.

My yoga workshops give us the time to slow things down, investigate a particular area of the body or aspect of practice, ask questions and discover different ways of moving.

Rather than simply following a sequence, you'll have the opportunity to understand why something may feel restricted, uncomfortable or difficult – and explore practical ways to work with your body rather than against it.

.

Choose from the upcoming workshops below and discover what changes when you give yourself the time to explore your body in greater depth.

Yoga That Goes Beyond Stretching

These focused workshops bring together Scaravelli-inspired yoga, somatic movement, anatomy and evidence-informed approaches to movement.

Depending on the workshop, we might explore strength, mobility, balance, breathing, joint health, nervous-system regulation or a particular area of the body.

The emphasis isn't on achieving perfect shapes or pushing yourself further.

It's about developing greater awareness, finding more useful movement choices and building a body that feels strong, adaptable and capable – both in your yoga and in everyday life.

.

What You'll Gain From a Workshop

A workshop gives us the luxury of time.

•  Time to explore movement more carefully.
•  Time to notice habits you might normally miss.
•  Time to experiment rather than simply repeat.
•  And time to ask questions and understand what you're experiencing.

You'll be encouraged to work at your own pace and adapt everything to your individual body.

You may leave with a clearer understanding of your anatomy and movement, new ideas to bring into your regular practice and practical tools you can continue using long after the workshop has finished.

.

Who Are the Workshops For?

You don't need to be particularly flexible or experienced.

The workshops are suitable for people who are curious about their bodies and interested in developing a more intelligent, sustainable approach to yoga and movement.

They're particularly valuable if you want to maintain strength, mobility, balance and confidence as you get older, or if your body no longer responds well to simply being pushed into deeper stretches.

Yoga teachers are also very welcome, and the workshops provide an opportunity to deepen your understanding and bring new ideas and perspectives into your teaching.

Scaravelli Inspired Yoga Workshops Around The UK

Bring a Workshop to Your Community

I also teach Scaravelli-inspired yoga workshops for The British Wheel of Yoga, independent yoga teacher trainings and other groups in London and around the UK.

If there's a subject you'd particularly like to explore, I can also create a bespoke workshop around the needs and interests of your group.

Whether you're interested in anatomy, movement, strength, mobility, healthy ageing or a particular area of the body, we can develop a workshop that gives participants time to investigate the subject in a practical and engaging way.

If you'd like me to teach a workshop in your town, studio or training programme, please get in touch.
