Friday Night Special: Somatic Yoga + Yoga Nidra

Somatic Yoga followed by Yoga Nidra

Deep Rest for Body, Mind and Nervous System

Feeling tired, wired, or finding it hard to switch off?

Step away from the noise of the week and join us for a nourishing evening of gentle somatic movement, calming breathwork and Yoga Nidra.

Designed to help you unwind, regulate your nervous system and release accumulated tension, this monthly online workshop offers a rare opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself and experience deep rest.

Whether you're feeling mentally busy or simply in need of some time for yourself, you'll leave feeling calmer, clearer and deeply restored.

What to Expect

We begin with gentle Somatic Yoga-inspired movement to:

•  Release physical tension

•  Improve body awareness

•  Calm a busy mind

•  Support nervous system regulation

•  Prepare the body for deep rest

We'll then settle into a deeply restorative guided Yoga Nidra practice.

Often described as "yogic sleep," Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative meditation practised lying down. As the body relaxes and the mind becomes quiet, many people experience a profound sense of ease, improved sleep, enhanced creativity and a renewed sense of clarity.

Many participants describe these sessions as feeling like several hours of rest packed into a single evening.

Benefits

Regular Yoga Nidra practice may help:

•  Improve sleep quality

•  Reduce stress and anxiety

•  Calm an overactive mind

•  Support nervous system health

•  Increase mental clarity and focus

•  Enhance creativity and problem-solving

•  Create a deeper sense of wellbeing

Can't Make it Live?  Recording Included

A recording of the session is included with every booking.

You'll have access for 14 days, allowing you to revisit the practice, deepen your experience and enjoy the benefits again in your own time.

What You'll Need

What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra, often translated as "yogic sleep," is a deeply restorative guided meditation practised lying down in comfort.

During our session, we'll begin with gentle breathwork and somatic movement to help release tension and settle the nervous system.

You'll then be guided into a state of deep relaxation, where the body can rest completely while the mind remains quietly aware.

Many people find Yoga Nidra profoundly calming.

As the practice unfolds, it can help ease mental chatter, reduce stress and create a sense of spaciousness and inner peace.

Yoga Nidra invites us into the space between waking and sleeping - a naturally restorative state in which the body can rest deeply and the mind can become more receptive, creative and clear.

Whether you're seeking rest, renewal or simply an opportunity to pause and reconnect with yourself, Yoga Nidra offers a powerful and accessible practice for modern life.

You can expect to leave feeling calmer, more grounded and deeply restored - often with the feeling of having had far more rest than the time spent in practice.

In a world that encourages us to keep doing, Yoga Nidra offers a rare opportunity to simply be.
