Yoga Workshop - The Life Centre, Notting Hill : June 2019

Release Stress & Tension in your Head, Neck and Shoulders

Do you have a tight neck and shoulders?  A tense upper back?  Tension headaches? ... as a result of stress?

With desk-bound jobs, tight deadlines and our current addiction to smartphones, it’s no wonder are bodies can be riddled with stress!  Join Catherine to give your shoulders and upper back a sensory treat, let go of deep seated tensions, and experience space and freedom in this overused area of the body.

During this workshop, we will:

Learn about the anatomy of the shoulder girdle and upper spine

Explore the relationship between the shoulders, arms, ribs, upper spine and the breath

  Relax your head and neck

Learn some gentle, deliberate and focused techniques to help you change movement habits and release tensions which may restrict you in everyday life.

Reducing stress in our lives can be essential to our own health and how we respond to life and those around us.  Life should be there to be enjoyed and embraced with the minimal amount of stress.
