Catherine's yoga knowledge and wealth of experience are such an asset as she applies her anatomical knowledge & physiological understanding whenever required. As one of her current teacher training students in London, she makes sure that all asanas are studied in depth & in the safest way. Her thorough, detailed and caring approach encouraged me a lot as she won't hesitate to spend what it takes for me to understand and grasp the teaching point. Last but not least, Catherine gives very comprehensive & fair feedback in written work & face to face meetings. I Highly recommend this yoga teaching training in London.
I deliberated for several years before finding yoga teacher trainers who I hoped would resonate with my knowledge, skills and background as a neurological Physiotherapist.
Catherine Annis has by far exceeded my expectations not only do they have a wealth of experience as a yoga teacher, her anatomical and biomechanics and movement knowledge is extensive.
Her professionalism and passion to teach, share and exchange knowledge and skills in yoga and movement has been so valuable in enabling me to develop as a yoga teacher but has also immensely enhanced my treatment approaches in my physiotherapy practice. The best training, I have done in years!
The 200-hour yoga teacher training course with Catherine has been a fabulous experience, a huge learning curve and worth much more than the money invested in it. I really appreciate the breadth of the course, which incorporates a thorough history of the philosophy of yoga, essential anatomy and physiology and a well-structured approach to posture work, exploring asana in depth for personal practice while progressively developing our teaching skills in small and large group settings.
Our ttc class has created a very supportive and friendly atmosphere while Catherine is an outstanding role model for intuitive and compassionate teachers; she has offered excellent feedback and encouragement at every stage. The two-year format has allowed me time to revise and assimilate the learning through well matched assessments and to have the confidence and knowledge to begin to practice teaching yoga, which has been a joy. It is a journey of self-discovery, at times intense, but always rewarding. I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute (well, perhaps not the terrifying first group teaching practices, but maybe that was just me ...) and cannot recommend this yoga teacher training in London enough.
Catherine Annis is an inspirational, experienced yoga teacher. Throughout my two year teacher training with her in London, I have felt encouraged, motivated and amazed by the depth of her knowledge, teaching and ability to read the body. Catherine has allowed me to build a better awareness and connection in my own body and practice, given me the tools, knowledge and confidence to go out and teachyoga and been supportive throughout. I have also had the pleasure of attending Tanya’s classes and she is also an inspiring, engaging teacher. Both Catherine and Tanya are a lovely energy to be around and I couldn’t recommend their yoga teacher training course in London more!
Tanya's yoga teaching always takes me to new territory within my body and I feel refreshed and freed up in body and mind. Her heartfelt connection to her own self enquiry is obvious by the way she conveys new concepts and detailed cues to take you deep within your own form. Her imagery and tactile cueing is extraordinary and her ability to ground you in your body and mind is a sure outcome of her work.
